Membership at the Mt. Juliet 55+ Activity Center opens the door to a full calendar of activities, classes, social events, and community gatherings designed with your interests in mind.

Must be 55 years of age or older to join. You do not have to be a resident of Wilson County.

Annual Membership Fee

$65 Per Person

+$3 If Paid by Credit/Debit Card

Outdoor Activities

Music & the Arts

Choir, Dulcimer (Beginner/ Advanced), Ukulele (Beginner), Bravo Theater, Learn to play a Recorder (Beginners), Karaoke and more!

Health & Fitness

A wide variety of exercise classes are available: Aerobic Exercise, Enhanced Fit, Mat Yoga, Chair Yoga, Tai Chi (Beginners/Intermediate), Bingocize, Dance Fit, S.A.I.L. (Staying Active & Independent for Life), Arthritis Exercise, Blood Pressure Screenings, Health Seminars & Fairs, CPR Classes & more!

Quilting Group

Quilting Group are State Fair Prize winners! They work together to make new & restore quilts into beautiful pieces of Art. Our group is also registered with quilts for Quilts of Valor for our local Veterans.

Visual Arts, Crafts & Jewelry

Oil Painting, Acrilic Painting, Seasonal Craft Classes, Card Making, Jewerly Making. Some Classes depend on donated supplies or may have a minimal supply fee.

Knitting & Crochet

A very busy yet social group that meets twice a week to make hats, scarves for our local Coats for kids program. Every year children that receive warm winter coats also receive a hat made with love from donated yarn from our MJ community. You can even bring in your own projects you may be working on too. Or learn a new technique from one of the many experienced members.

Games

Bid Euchre, Dominos, Chess, Organized Table Games, Mahjong, Hand & Foot, Bingocize, SUPER BINGO, a variety of outdoor games are available too.

Dance

Ultra Beginners Line Dancing, Intermediate Line Dancing, Dance Fit.

Social

There is a wide range of Activities available for you to join in and become active in your areas of interest. Parties, Seasonal Events, Travel.

Outings

A wide variety of monthly social outings are available. Trips to area museums, festivals, concerts, theaters, local areas of interest, mystery lunches, 3-7 day long excursions/ tours through a variety of travel agencies. 2005 trips included Cumberland Theater, Black Hills ND, Branson, MO and in Oct 2026 Ireland.

Book Lovers & Spiritual

Book Club meets once a month to discuss a chosen book they read together. Bible Reading and Prayer Group meet once a week to read and pray for members needs that are shared with them.

Education

A wide variety of learning opportunities through our Lunch and Learn Programs. Several business professionals educate us on topics of interest which include Medicare, Laws, Health, Safety and more!

Volunteer With the Activity Center!

There are many opportunities to get involved through volunteering at the Center. Members can serve in roles such as office support, data entry, front desk assistance, Meals on Wheels, event and party planning, boutique support, trip driving, donation preparation, quilting and knitting groups, yard sale preparation, and much more.
